  Quality Assurance    Integrated Management System

FNT integrated its management systems ISO 9001:2008 (quality) with ISO 14001:2007 (environment) and OHSAS 18001:2004. A management system is integrated when at least two out of three possible systems (quality, environment and health and safety) are integrated.

The aim of an integrated system is to streamline processes even further and avoid duplication. However, just because a system is integrated does not mean less attention is paid to auditing individual systems. The system must conform to the requirements of the individual standards, in order to maintain a high level of credibility and effectiveness.

ISO 9001 is a Quality Management System (QMS) which gives organizations a systematic approach for meeting customer objectives.

ISO 14001 is an Environmental Management System (EMS) which provides a system for measuring and improving an organization's environmental impact.

OHSAS 18001 is an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) which provides a system for measuring and improving an organization's health and safety impact.
